Vista Communities, Inc. structured the acquisition of the 32-unit Briar Crest Apartments in Garden Grove, Calif. Vista Communities served as development manager from the acquisition phase to property management, including selecting the non-profit partner for the project. In conjunction with Jamboree Housing Corporation, Vista Communities utilized Federal Housing Funds designated for local non-profit housing providers to rehabilitate the project and preserve affordable housing within the community.

The project was rehabilitated in 1997. While operating under the supervision of Vista Communities, the project won honorary recognitions.
